What I'm about to say will shock you, yet you'll completely love me sharing this valuable information with you! You see, I always read so called tips in magazines telling me the best ab exercises for men are crunches, or some super duper new machine that will target your abs. Even worse is when I read that doing a long cardio workout is best to burn fat. This is in fact absolutely incorrect! I will explain why in this article.
You see, crunches and sit ups are small, isolated exercises. What you want to do when trying to get a six pack is a high intensity exercise that will burn fat quick and efficiently. These exercises just won't do that! When you exercise, you burn fat from All over your body, not just one area! Therefore to get much better results and a really slick six pack, you need to focus on compound exercises that involve many more muscle groups. I believe compound exercises are some of the best ab workouts for men around!
Cardio exercises. Man I hate them! Guess what though, cardio isn't the holy grail to losing belly fat quickly. Infact quite the opposite! Cardio workouts will only lower your metabolism, which is exactly what you don't want, as your body will find it even harder to burn fat! If you can't burn enough fat from around your belly, your six pack won't shine through. So, concentrate on workouts that are no longer than an hour, an make them intense. I fond that the best abs exercises for men are actually exercises such as pull ups and lunges, as these will work your whole body and not only build muscle in other areas of your body, but will burn lots of fat!
